A software department for the price of a line item

Most companies do not need an engineering team on payroll. They need the next thing built. Poket Dev sells exactly that as a subscription: you submit requests, they get built one at a time by the founder, and the code lands in a GitHub repository you own. The fee never changes with scope: $5,995 month to month, $5,495 on quarterly billing, or $4,995 a month paid yearly, with nothing due upfront and the ability to cancel and keep everything shipped so far.

One board, one active card

The whole operation runs on a Trello board. Requests stack up as cards without limit. One card is active at any moment, it moves to approved when you sign off, and the next one slides up. A card typically finishes inside 72 hours. Revisions are unlimited until you are happy with the result. There are no status meetings to sit through; communication happens on the board, Monday through Friday, and onboarding takes about a day from signup to a live queue.

What the shop builds

Work is Python at the core: machine learning systems, Django, FastAPI, and Flask backends, scraping and automation pipelines, ETL jobs, and cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure with Terraform and Docker. Desktop tools and embedded projects sit in the same scope. Full-stack web builds ship in JavaScript and TypeScript. Recent deliveries include a 24/7 X Spaces voice-clone host built for Mario Nawfal, an auto affiliate bot, and a crypto tracker, with SoMeeAI and OneName Global among the clients on the record.

The hiring comparison, printed openly

The pricing page does the math in public. A senior US software engineer costs about $18,290 a month fully loaded once benefits, taxes, bonus, and retirement are counted, which is the basis for the $161,040 a year gap the site claims against a hire. You are invited to check those inputs yourself on poketdev.com, where the subscription, the workflow, and the case studies live.
